Prima Donna

Found it quite difficult to render the elegance of a prima donna with wires and other scrap materials.

And the result is not satisfactory at all, though it gave me an inspiration for my next work.

This is a guitar I made quite a while ago, using scrap wood. Fortunately, the size is just right for Robot 2.

Robot 2

This is what I started out with; a document clip and two curtain glide hooks. An idea, no matter how stupid it may seem, often turns into something concrete as you mess around with parts and materials.

The more I looked at the other part of the broken nail clipper, the more it looked like a...

Scorpion

There is not much you can do with a broken nail clipper and bullet terminals,  

except turning them into a scorpion.

Ant

An inch-long ant made up of nuts and bolts

Different sizes of nuts are ideal for making the abdomen of an insect.

Penguin

I was fascinated by the shape of a gas hose clamp, which looks like a bird's beak.

Maybe a bit too simplified... I think I need to learn more about the art of deformation. 

Motorcycle

When I found a couple of rubber packings in my tool box, I came up with this idea.

In particular, a part of a wrist watch bracelet fits perfectly as a steering bar. 

And these are the parts I picked out for the assemblage.

He is powerful enough to lift a motorcycle :)

Robot 1

My first assemblage made up of an electric motor, document clips, hooks, an electric bulb, etc.

I like his humorous look with his mouth half-open. Ironically, he's got a shiny head like mine !
